AliAsghar Arabshahi

Ali Asghar Arabshahi was born in 1986. He started playing the Tonbak as a child and learned playing on the Tar from his father. Then he entered the conservatory of music and benefited from the presence of masters such as Houshang Zarif and Mohsen Nafar. He won first place in all academic courses and won first place in Tar solo in the young festival and the student festival in three courses. Arabshahi also has the following activities in his artistic career: 
1- Collaboration with Siavash band sung by Homayoun Shajarian 
2- Collaboration with  Eshtiagh (enthusiasm) band sung by Alireza Ghorbani
3- Leading  Eshtiagh band
4- Leading Navasaz band 
5- Performing various concerts with Tar Quartet band 
6- Releasing some albums such as Tabesh Mehr , Gozar az tarkib and doreh nahan
He is currently an official lecturer of the University of Applied Sciences and a specialized Tar instrument teacher at the Tehran Conservatory of Music.
