Born in 1985, Tehran, Iran, Farhoud Biglarbeigi started to learn recorder as his professional instrument at the age of 10, taught by a swiss lady resident in Tehran, Trudi Zehndler Falamaki. He also continued his education in music principles and also recorder playing under the direction of Reza Askarzadeh.
He had the chance to participate in masterclasses by some of the best recorder players, such as Michael Schneider, Maurice Steger, Jeremias Schwarzer, and Michael Posch.
He has performed a lot of concerts as a recorder player since 2002, experienced in performing Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque Music. Farhoud has also started his career as a recorder teacher since 2011.
